Prodigy p2 brake controller problems
#16
Last winter, I bought an enclosed snowmobile trailer, but I couldn't get the brakes to engage when I wanted to test them. I found out the problem was on my end: [LINK]
I also had a problem with the trailer plug not locking in place, and that turned out to be a broken piece on the receptacle on the truck - so I had to buy a new one of those, too. I dowse all my electrical connectors with dielectric grease to prevent water intrusion and corrosion. During the winter, that "water" is pretty salty - and electrical connectors near the pavement don't last long without some form or protection.
