gas mileage?

me and my father were looking at a pickup, a 91 250 supercab diesel, 5 speed, 4x4. but before we dived into purchasing, we would like to have an estimate of what it should get for gas mileage. what are you guys that are running a simular setup getting? the truck appears to to have been taken care of. and also, how hard is it to convert over to a bench rear seat from the two jumpers?

7.3 or 6.9? We had a 1991 E350 bucket van that got 17mpg at 70 with a 3 speed auto adn a 7.3

gas mileage?

I have never actually done the seat conversion but had two trucks side by side, one with jump seats and one with a bench across the back. The only difference I saw was that there is a bracket that is welded on the passenger of the side of the cab to hold the back part of seat up. When I saw that I decided to not investigate it further. The 1990 donor truck was to nice to cut up so I left the jump seats alone.
