aod to c6

aod to c6
we have a 84 f150 shortbox 2wd it has a 302-aod-8.8 posi w/3.55 gears. it has already chucked the aod. and has sat since. recently my dad agreed to sell it to a friend of mine for 400 bucks and toss in a 78' small block c6(although im not sure if the c6 would make the price rise). but what i am wondering is how hard would it be to replace the aod with the c6? i know how to swap trannies (altough if it was my truck it would be getting a 4 speed) bu is there anything special that will need to be done?
