Well I pulled the trigger on a purchase of a 2017 F350 King Ranch DRW 4x4 on July 1st. I own a 25 foot travel trailer and plan to move up to a 5th wheel soon. This is my first diesel and Superduty truck. I am looking forward to learning a lot from this forum and hopefully engage in conversations.
Nice lookin' truck, Bornzo! Enjoy! I am waiting on my 2017 SD, current owner of a 2012 SD. Best truck I've had so far compared to GMC and Dodge which I've had also.
I actually found this truck on a lot in another part of our state and I had my local dealer due a dealer trade. I was going to wait to order a 2018 but I started checking Cars.com for dealers near me who might have what I was looking for.

Congrats...great looking truck! I'm in a very similar situation. When you say you were going to order a 2018...was your dealer telling you 2017's can't be ordered any longer? I'm getting mixed messages on that, and was going to head down to the dealer who is telling me they still can, tomorrow to see if I can get an order in
1st time Ford F-250 owner...love it so far. Pulling a 5 th wheel with it...night and day difference from the Tundra I replaced.
Quick question, tho
Ok... so I have a 2017 SRW 4x4, crew cab, diesel, and 3.55 rear end. From the Trailer Towing Wt Ratings Chart in the technical specs section of the 2017 brochure, it looks like I can tow a maximum of 14k lbs of 5th wheel/gooseneck. It looks like the exact same truck in 2016 had a max tow (5th wheel) capacity of 15,100. With all the hoopla about aluminum body, weight savings and increased torque in this year's model, seems like the 2017s should be capable of towing more than the 2016s...or at least roughly the same, not 1,100 less. What am I missing?
