Shift indicator bulb

Where does the bulb for the shift indicator go ( can't find an illustration), and what is the number?

Bumpside steering columns didn't have a shift indicator lamp. Now if by chance someone has put a Dentside column in your truck, there would be a bezel around the shift indicator. The bulb was a Industry number 1445. As I recall that bulb was mounted in the T/S switch.

You have to pull the steering wheel to access it, as it fits into the T/S switch then pokes into the upper flange where the indicator dial and separate shroud are located.

The plastic pointer on 1973/77's slips into a slot in the shift collar.

1973 and later T/S switches have a **** that protrudes from the right side of the switch that operates the 4 way flashers.
