If I recall correctly, there is something different between the FI heads and carb heads; port spacing or something that fouls up the swap. Then you have to consider the plethora of sensors, wires and computer you'll need to make it run correctly.
Can it be done? Of course, if you're willing to put for the effort. Keep in mind also that there isn't a lot out there for Mass Air 460 EFI equipment. Most were speed density and don't take kindly to enthusiastic HP additions.
The 7.5L EFI LT Engine was modified by smaller runners in both heads and intake(s).
You would be better off (IMO) to buy an aftermarket 4V ALUM intake and use CFI (aftermarket) or have the manifold modified for MPFI. Personally, I would modify EEC-IV to control it with MAP.
Or, if you are cheap like me, a CFI throttle body/injector asm from a mid-eighties application.
Thanks, really just waiting on a decent donor, some nearby RV's with low miles. Wanting the entire engine, running, but started to wonder after seeing some of the part-out ads.
