That's what I was thinking, how about the rest? I'm running the 1.0ar on my stock turbo and that made a difference there.

1.0 on my 366. With the auto, was advised that would be better. $150 and can try a .91 which is one of the big benefits for going the T4 route. Not sure I'm interested in it though, the 1.0 towing works really well.

I’m running a 364.5 and a .91 with 200/80s and Akcooper is running the same with stock injectors. My back pressure is 1:1 up to 40psi. If I wanted more high rpm power, I’d consider a 1.0, but at that point, I’d probably just go with a 366 like SRBF150 did. IMO, the 3 factors to consider would be: injector nozzle size, whether you’re towing, racing, or both and final drive ratio including tire size.

Nope, I don't need high RPM power. Anymore all I care about is towing. I will probably get a different DD someday and have the 250 for towing only. My van turbo just isnt getting it done.

Had to ask guys. Seems all of you are happy with what ever outlet you have. I read last year on the early trucks, 1997 to be exact, there was a guy from AZ that blew his engine. He had an updated turbo but when he changed the motor, he put on the 366 turbo with the 1.0ar outlet. Now he goes every year during the summer across the US. He had water meth system on his truck. Since putting in the new turbo, he now never has to use it and EGT's are good. He tows a 40 foot 5th wheel with him each year. So all I can say, the guys doing this mod are doing it right. He has 160, stock nozzle injectors. That mitt be a little different then most here, but for us guys towing, I think it's pertinent.

My truck has a 3 inch lift up front, running 35s on stock 3.73s

Pre SXE:
Towing 12K toyhauler, stock tune, molested stock turbo (ported housing), my truck would pull hills at 42mph and 1250 degrees playing the peddle game....it sucked

Post SXE:
Towing the same toyhauler, (no change in tires or gearing) and running 'light' tow tunes, pulling 6% hills in Colorado, accelerating from 55 to 65 mph EGTs were 1150 degrees.

I'm running sxe369 w/.91 but also running 238/80s - Irate said if I'm not happy with how it spools they'll switch me out to a 366. I've only logged about 150 miles: starts to spool around 1800 rpm - the power is very smooth unit about 2800 when a Roided Out Gorilla wakes up to smash you back in the seat.
It's very easy to lug around with this set up - the mind blower is how clean the combo is with Dusty's Street Shredder tune. I've had a handful of buddies do the ol "test" drive and are blown away by the set up - everyone always says the same; smooth, clean and power just rolls on.
But honestly, I would love to see how a 366 and even a 364.5 impacts the power curve and driveability on my setup.

Anyone in here have experience running an S363/73 SXE? Mainly interested in the low end spool of an S363 vs 364.5 vs 366 with same turbine size.

I had thought about trying the S363, but my heart told me the 364.5 was the right choice at the time of purchase. Although, swapping supercores and turbines is not a bad job at all once everything is installed and you know what goes where and how to get it there. This is another advantage of the SXE, turbines and supercores are easily changed for less than half the cost that a KC or 38R costs.

I am very happy with the 364.5 so far and if I decide to upgrade injectors later from the stock AD's, the 364.5 will be more than capable.

You might try searching some of the other forums for results on the S363. Although, most of those guys like to go bigger rather than smaller. I would be interested to see what you learn though, so if you do get some "good learnin" on the S363, please share with us.

FWIW, I just switched out the exhaust housing from a 1.0 to .91 and will say that it spools just like the 364.5 did. Runs really well down low and snaps to 40psi extremely quick (faster than the 364.5 by a lot) with the street shredder tune. I don't anticipate a towing issue with EGT but will know pretty soon. Probably be leaving in a week to start the trek out west.
