That is cool that the wiring harness job worked out ok. The Thunderbird just has minor issue except the transmission, which may only be a fluid issue since it does leak. Both electric window motors need replacing, the headliner is bad, the paint is severely faded and top coat missing on hood, roof, and trunk, but it has good tires, doesn't leak oil, or water, and the engine runs smooth. AC needs to be charged, but that will have to wait as I have never had a cheap AC repair bill. I will help them when I can, but I have my own car to fix as well. Stuff I kept putting off, and putting off, and now I have decided to get fixed. Of course, thanks to that $500 repair bill, even that will have to wait. Although, that does mean one less item on my list. Now, I just need to replace the window motor in the drivers door, and the right front strut mount.
As for me another hot cloudy day. I have never seen so many cloudy days as we have had this year. We live in an area that as a rule gets over 250 days of sun. I'm sure we are not close to that this year. The weather has really changed this year. Are we beginning a new long term weather cycle?
Yes indeed. I have had milk, chocolate milk, and even two slices of leftover pizza and the stomach has not thrown any of it back up. So I am definitely on the mend. Now, if I can stop having to go to the bathroom so much, I would be 100% well. I do feel a lot better though. So I would imagine by tomorrow I will be back to normal. Or, as normal as I can get. LOL
Getting ready to go work on our place in Goldfield for a few days. I'm leaving in the morning. I'm going to try and go down there a couple of days a week to work.
But going on a 5 day vacation to Northern Nevada, Southern Idaho next week. Last year the wife spent most of her summer in the hospital. Thank God she is much better this year. So I'm determined to take some fun trips. Before she returns to work in mid Aug. We are planning a trip to Laughlin for a few days. I want to visit with my buddy in Bullhead City. That will give us 3 fun trips this summer. With a short hospital stay this summer.
