Not sure RC. Alex and I blew through there Monday looking for a grill and I did not notice if it was. I can try to get over there and look again this weekend if you want.

Yeah - I'm getting nowhere fast on that front. Gayle managed to make an appointment Monday with the nurse practitioner that's known me for years. If all else fails, I'll get her to sign off on the paperwork and buy one from an online supplier bypassing the insurance company altogether. It's not going to cost me much more than dealing with the insurance anyhow so why not go that way.

Thats what I am going to do next time mine goes out. 4 years ago mine went. I found one on craigslist for 60 bucks, it was even set to my pressure. got two years out of it and then it died also. But my dad had just passed away and he had a brand new one so I inherited it. The Insurance took me to the cleaners on the first one. By the time they got finished I ended up paying almost 50% instead of the 20% I was supposed to pay.

Anyone going to Wheatland this weekend? I am going Sat.

When my wife got hers, we wound up paying a fortune because her deductible was so high and then they paid like 20% after that. We would have saved a least a grand buying online.

We WERE planning on going to Wheatland, but the Sat race is at 1:00 PM and I already worked all week in the hot sun..... So I do not want to set around Sat afternoon and watch a race in the sun. If you have a a/c VIP box and have room for me and 4 others call me.

The grandson is still coming up and we are working on the son-inlaws Razor getting it ready for the up coming SMORR trip.

Man it was a hot one today.

Do not have a VIP box, They only have 4 over there. But they did put up a picture today of the covered grandstands. I am hoping we will be in the shade.

Good Morning Everybody!

This is my last day to get ready for the show this weekend. Bright and early we head out for Quincy, Ill. I got the new traction bars made. I still have to throw a set of spark plugs in, charge the battery in EQ, put a flag mount on the rollbar, then finish the wipers in Mongo. It should be a fun weekend.

Well I was doing a front end fluids ck and found a loose bolt...the only bolt that the trac bar connects to the frame drop bracket with. Of course ended up being a stripped fine thread nut. Ok so cut the head off and replace it right...it must of been was a grade 10+? super man hard as wood peckers lips material and was only as big as a #2 pencil. WTH?

So I finally got it cut and then discovered that poly bushing insert was real small also (hence the small bolt to start out with). So remove it and then drill it out a bit to put a real upgraded size and grade 10 bolt in it place. Had to get Penny on the pipe wrench with a 3" cheater pipe to get the trac bar twisted to get the bolt all the way thru.

That led to torque ck all the lugs nuts....alot were too loose for my comfort. Dang shop trolls using my impact gun...steering box bolts magically loose. And so forth and so on...never got to replace the rubber flex muffler hanger, still bailing wire till tomorrow. lol

Evening All!

I got everything done that I wanted to. I just have to load the tools and ice the cooler down in the morning. Mongo has electric wipers now and they do the same thing over and over. ....which is nice. The air wipers would only wipe half the windshield one time, then swing around and try to wipe the hood off on the next pass. It was maddening! The flag mount is done, the truck is ready to go and everything is strapped down.
