Morning folks, last hot day of the week and suppose to be the hottest. Stay cool, drink water make sure you pets are well cared for.

Seems that Waylon has made a full recovery...we thank full for that. Its the last weekend before the "big" weekend, so I am working on the Bronco.

Howdy all, enjoy the day. I'm going to drop the exhaust off the convertible to get new, non rusted pipes bent today along with taking the new tire with no miles to fix the leak.

Morning guys.

In Springfield today with Mom. We saw Mongo, Earthquake, and Alan booking down the highway on the way here. It got me thinking of taking a road trip tomorrow to say maybe Quincy, IL with the grease monkey. If anyone wants to hitch a ride, just let me know and we'll make it a group outing.

And we got Ka'Bluey's title back today. He's officially a Missouri truck again!

Fired up the bus...is it going to be at the swap meet? Does it have a/c by chance Dave I appreciate the invite and would of loved to tag along, but I already have family plans this weekend. Take some cool pics for us if you go.

Unk Bob congrats to you and Ka'Bluey.

Dave what is the window cleaner mixture you use?
I cleaned my windows early Sunday morning with windex and paper towels, and up til this morning I thought they were clean. But this morning all I could see was streaks and smears.
It's bad enough the damn birds crapped on my windshield after I cleaned them, but i can't deal with streaks and smears too.

Alan a big truck displaying an American flag should have a confederate flag flying high and proud, it's just not right having one without the other.

Lee - I start with a bucket of warm water with a good amount of Dawn dishwashing liquid in it. I scrub the window down with that and wipe it dry with clean rag. I follow that up with regular window cleaner (Windex, Invisible Glass, etc.) using a different clean rag to wipe it dry. After that, I buff the window with yet another clean rag.

It's a bit tedious and time consuming, but the windows will be spotless. It even helps slow down the buildup of whatever that is that seems to get the inside of the windshield.

Plain white vinegar mixed with some water, guess 50/50 and dry it with good ol newspaper.

Evening folks, more Bronco time rear dif fluid ck...ck and then had a blown muffler hanger to work over.

Razor soft top and 1/2 front windshield install done. And I got one that fits the tube buggy perfect.

I use liquid Bon-Ami with a sponge. it will not scratch the glass, it will get all of the crap (oils dirt etc) off.

You can also use 0000 steel wool, but it's much more time consuming.

After I clean all the glass I then apply two coats of Rain-X.

For the inside, I use Invisible glass and nothing else. I have found that Widex isn't worth a damn for anything.
