this is even more ****ed. New guy, broke one of the air water drains, but it was already ****ed up and we knew it would happen. The sarge, 10 minutes later, decides theres another seperater that needs to be drained, (be in mind the painter and I drain them all in the mornings), so the sarge walks over to one NEVER used, and bam, its broke. "but its not his fault, because he knew what he was doing" and we hurt his feelings

oh, the one he went to, was in good shape, and would have never broken.......

I have a friend like that. Thinks he knows he everything but know nothing. understand I always over engineer. Serveral years ago I haf to rebuild the porch, he wanted to help the porch is out of square, he wanted to put just 2 screws in the joist hangers, 1 screw in the deck boards, on the steps just let the excess hang over. Execpet for it the out ofsquare none of that happened.

Him and his wife are joined at the hip

Took them out to the land when I we were lumber. Told him what to do , how I wanted it done. Every time I turned around they had disappeared. When they were around did everything I told them not to do. The piled the cut lumber instead of stacking it. Next day I had to redo it the way I needed it.

Today I started an unplanned kitchen remodel. Had a k
Leak we did not know about. The particle board (novadeck) was soft in one spot. I was working a plan to get all the floor covering up to see all the damage. He walks in grabs the hammer hits the soft spot. Asking what the hell - oh need to see if we need joist. Now I have a hole in the floor , got to leave tge stove pulled out so Lexie want step in the hole. I am not going to buy matetials till Monday

Mowed the front yard. Put a new primer bulb on the weedeater to get it running again. I finally got the wife to decide what old toys, baby stuff etc that we were taking to goodwill to donate. Added 2 lbs of Freon to the Mother in-laws SUV since the AC was really weak. Found and fixed a broken vacuum line on the daughters truck for the vent control. Chilled out in the pool most of the afternoon and then grilled some steaks.

I cant believe im ever saying this. But my house is now somewhat a home, and I no longer feel the stress of to do list. Been running laundry all day, cleaning intervals, fixing some odds and ends. Wow. It actually feels good to know I can come home now, and everything is absolutely fine.
If only I could say that about my property, garage, and 3 trucks hahahahahahahahaha.

I mowed for 4 hours last week, got to the back half, and said eh, cut a trail and did the perimeter. Done. Back half looks like a jungle. BUT, We are on a 2 week no rain, and nothing has grown, so this week sometime I plan to finish the back half, check the grass I killed, trim some stuff, and get back to work on something.

Its so ****ing hot, I just dont want to even work on the weekends on my own stuff, because I put up with the heat everyday.

my painter and I got curious the other day, I think it was friday morning. about 1030ish, we took a temp gun outside to check his truck, my truck, my coworkers benz, some parts that were primer outside, and some other stuff. My flat black truck at 1030 was 191 degrees at the surface, and 140 inside with the windows rolled down. Coworkers benz, gloss black was 180, 120 ish inside windows up. painters white truck, 130. Silver acura, 115, and primer parts outside to cure were 145. nice to know information. Oh, btw, baking cycles on paint booths only hit 120............. haha.. Texas heat is intense.

Its actually a fact out here, during the summer almost no body shop will use their bake cycle because the car cures faster outside. Unless they have infared.

Im getting in the proper mindset. Bought 6 gallons of water for work this week. Im thinking healthy and ****. Drinking is going to take some time to completely kick, and this is the worst time to do it since I have 2 weddings, and 2 bachelor parties to attend in the next 2 months, 1 graduation from a bootcamp, and maybe new job......
