Road trip today. Going to Douglasville to pickup a radial arm saw, then to Buford to grab 2 generators, to Peachtree City to get another radial arm saw and a compond miter saw. All for 300. Picked up a 2400 psi gas pressure washer last night for 50. Love Cragislist and letgo

My lord it's hot today but at least it's not raining. Getting ready to go take a dip in the pool. I need to get me a generator, I keep saying that but never get serious about looking.

It poured on me coming back from Sugar Hill. Traffic was terrible from Douglasville to 85. Did not get to Peachtree City got to late. Both generators need carbs. One is a Homelite 5700 the other is an excel 8500

Hugh you are too old to be trying to move heavy equipment.

I told my wife yesterday that my next job was a professional tourist..

The shop is picking up again, I have 4 machines waiting for parts or the OK to repair. The bottom just fell out, I don't like playing on steel with lightning around. The rain and breeze is nice break from the heat.

Professional tourist is alway pay out and nothing coming in, unless you become a travel agent. I was able to get up on the hill out at the land and started rough clearing for the house. I ordered a set of the pat's quick hitch for the tractor once they come in, I got to start bush hogging again

Doesn't pay well but sounds like a lot more fun than what I'm doing now. My lord it was hot even working inside with a fan. I was soaked in sweat by 8 AM. 2 people quit yesterday and at least one other looking to leave.

So we have a porter, aka sargent crack head. Been here for a minute. Today, he found a hook tool, and vigorously scrapped the inside channel for weather strip on a 67 mustang for 30 minutes making God awful white noise. He thinks he's cleaning the already new and bare channels for the new rubber..
He then walked around looking for me, to which his reason was to ask what I was doing.
And now, he's on the passanger side of this mustang yet again cleaning the channel. For ****s sake

so ive quit all nicotine, and found alcohol became the vise.

I also saw my first true set of melted brake pads, and I mean there was 1/16 of anything left on this dually, and the padded had slipped out from the caliper and got folded over between the mounting bracket and caliper. First time I seen that happen at the same time too

The crack head want last, just do not stoop to his level. You need to do what us old military guys did CYA. Use to carry a pocket note pad to document stuff. You need to do the same that way when s***t hits the fan your are covered.

Going in at 4 and been done in the early afternoon is really smart especially in the heat. Even offer to do a 3rd shift midnight to 8
