When I bought my 08 6.4 in December of 2008 most threads were related to problems or how to protect from problems like delete tunes etc. So now it's almost 10 years later and I'm in the buying mode again so decided to see what the weak spots are on these new trucks. Can someone direct me to where they keep the problem threads now? I must be in the wrong forum.

For 6.7L engine issues you might check the 6.7L forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum205/. The 6.7L wasn't changed all that much from 2016 (besides added power). Otherwise, you can post in this forum also for engine issues.

For issues related to non-engine 2017 issues this is also the right forum.

 

The issues just aren't there any more. The quality control put into both the engineering and the building has improved so that you just aren't seeing the huge number of issues on new product anymore. Of course, there is still the occasional truck that just seems to have every bolt loose, and nothing every works in it.. but that's the exception now rather than the rule.

 

I wondered. Thought maybe they don't sell many anymore. Lol

 

Not selling many Navistar engines anymore, that's for sure The 6.7 seems to be the best thing since a diesel went into a Ford.
