Forum issues.....

Is anyone else having issues navigating the forums? It seems like the last week or so, I have been having issues when I go in to read a thread, I can't get back out of it when I hit my browsers back button......It doesn't matter where I am in the forums....I normally hang out in Dentsides, OBS and Rangers.....I don't have the issue on any other websites.....seems to be worse when I post something.....Just curious..

LOL you think thats bad, I've actually experienced total pop up take over while on here, I mean while scrolling thru a tread and WHAM!!! instantly I'm viewing something TOTALLY different. Even while having my curser on the far right margin....even with thru my firewall and pop up blocker

I am a paid subscriber and have NO issues and it is easy to post pics. No photo bucket or pop up adds.

I have the same issue. Started a week ago or so. Latest was about 5 minutes ago. Was in the 61-66 section and the back button wouldn't work. Have to go back to the top of the page and click the link. Then it will work properly for a while. Just a random issue.

I was looking at the forum earlier today on my phone and was seeing all sorts of ads and pop-ups and even some spammy ads that almost wouldn't let me back out of. Then I realized I wasn't signed in. Signed back in and it's back to normal with no annoying ads in every thread. Whew! Glad to be an FTE supporter!

I paid my subscription about a year ago and it never showed me up as a premium member......never received an answer from FTE when I enquired about it.......couldn't post pics like I used to be able to.........I had been a paying member for a few years after I first joined then let it expire due to life changes......I gave up on paying for a membership......pissed me off......that's why there have been no updates to my build thread....couldn't post pics without jumping thru a bunch of hoops and couldn't get any answers from FTE.....they took my $$$$ though...

I would be on them like a hobo on a ham sandwich. lol There are a number of moderators to ask questions about that issue.

Stay on them, and get you stuff reinstated for free and get a FTE T shirt, hat and sticker.

Also have you sent a email to the mods to ask about this current issue?

I've had 2 issues

1st, seems like a pop up ad suddenly takes my browser to a Walmart site randomly and says I'm a winner or have been selected to win a free something or other (crap..) have to close browser to get out of it.

2nd, couple times now I've gone to reply or comment on a thread and it posts in a different thread I'd been reading.

That Walmart ad is the spammy stuff I was referring to, once that thing takes over, with it's multiple layers, it's hard to get it to go away.

Also, I had problems with getting my membership activated back a couple of years ago, and had to have one of the moderators fix it...the much missed late SteveBricks got it all straightened out for me.

Just spit balling here, but when was the last time you all cleared your browsing history and cookies? You'd be amazed at the difference that can make. And I agree with Rich about being over the moderators about the paid supporter issue. As a matter of fact there is even a section in the top of the forums list page where you can ask about this very issue. And it usually get resolved with in a couple of days. I had to post there once about me status a while back.

Yeah thanks for the suggestions.......browsing history and cookies automatically clear each time I shut down my browser. I never did post in the area that you suggested, because I didn't know it existed until recently. I did send a few emails which I never received an answer to. I may try becoming a paid member again at some point but will still have a bad taste in my mouth when I do. Not pissed at anyone in the forums.......just at the forum management. Thanks for letting me rant.

I would contact this moderator before I spent any more $.

If they took your $, they should have a record of it.
