Just when you think tings are stable, she bites you! I do not drive this truck much, mainly I tend to work on it. 2000, auto, 4" intake, it had supertunes safe tune on it. I drove it camping about 100 miles lightly loaded. I logged data all they way there. On the home I logged data bluetooth, Torque Pro. On the ride home I fired up a blue tooth FM adapter. I was in the parking lot gong about 5 MPH and she stalled. I assumed that the blue tooths may be conflicting. You could here the OBD on the radio. I pulled the radio adapter and no more issues. Since then, I have tanker her up, changed the oil, Installed a TS 6 point tune, and a WIX filter. I have driven it around a bit but not much. On Wen. I drove it to work stopping once on the way. On the way home, I logged data. I made one stop on the way. About a mile from home she stalled while going about 10 MPH. I dropped into Neutral cranked it and she did not fire. I cycle the ignition and she fired right up. I started going and she stalled again. I was stopped at a light. I cycled the ignition and restarted. I made it to my block and she stalled again twice. I restarted and parked her. I checked the logs and it has not recorded anything special, none of the special Ford data was there. I guess I still don't have it setup to record them. So today I fire her up and make a few short trips (logging data). She seems OK so I take of to Huntington to get some bamboo. Its about a 25 mile run. I'm on the 605 doing 65 and she cuts off! She dropped off like switch. Lucky traffic is light on my side. I drop into neutral and move over two lanes. I move over to the shoulder cycle the ignition bull the OBD2 adapter and she starts right up. I get on the north bound side and make the run home in stop a go traffic. No problems. I made one other short trip today. No problem. I'm getting the impression that the data logger and or blue tooth adapter is crashing the trucks computer. Have any of you seen this issue?

For logging data with TP, it's more than just selecting "log data". It doesn't log the PIDs you have displayed, there's a another menu where you pick the items you want logged. No relation to anything you've got displayed. I don't know it off-hand, and my TP stuff is not with me.

If you leave the adapter out, does it run just fine? I'd test that over different types of roads / driving; highway, stop & go, bumpy, etc.

Yes, but not for anything to do with a OBD adapter or Bluetooth. When my IPR was failing - it took it's time, several weeks actually - the engine would simply cut out like turning the key, except all the electrics stayed on. Seemed like cycling the key was the trick at first, but might have simply been coincidence as I think it was a heat problem, and it just needed some time to cool. Eventually though it finally left me stranded, but by then I was wary and able to walk home. And my logs showed wonky IPR-DC (high) and ICP (practically 0) while cranking with a no start.
I will Take a look at the PCM in the AM. I will try a wiggle test. It was not hot On Sat when it crapped out on me. It was hotter when died 4 time on the way home from work. I checked for codes and all I got is 603. I'm not sure why I'm not logging any PIDs. I will have to try the other tab. It looks setup, but it has not lagged any of the Ford PIDs. It was not bumpy on the 605 when it died. It just shut down! I missed the "Also log selected sensors" box. I'm not sure why you need to tell it what to log and also to log it.

With Torque Pro, data logging is setup through Settings, and you need to be connected to the truck to do it. From the Main menu, press the Gear icon on the lower left, then select "Settings", then "Data Loggin & Upload. Under Logging Preferences at the top, choose "Select what to Log". Then it's just like setting up your display, choosing what you want to log.
Back on the Data Logging & Upload menu, if you scroll down there is field under Trip-Recording labeled "Also log selected sensors". I have this field unchecked, so I'm not certain how it's meant to work, unless it actually refers to sensors selected for display. Maybe someone else can chime in.
Hey she seems to be over it. She made the run form Industry to Pasadena
with the data logger running, and the run home w no issues. Back to Pasadena
and back on the 4th. She seems right as rain again. I did a on-ramp romp she does 20 psig of boost.
Have you inspected the underside of the driver side harness at 42 pin connector? It drapes across the valve cover and chafes thru, giving random shorts.
Yep I checked it, it was OK, so I added duct tape anyway! Same with the stearing column.
There is also a spot on the drivers side where a cable rubes the shock tower. Duct tape for everyone!
Duct tape will end up being a sticky fail in the hot environs under the hood. One of my favorite sayings is --"Somethin you'll never hear in the south is "U kaint fix dat wit duct tape"". But in this situation you should find a more permanent repair like the one David suggested!
I'm a Southern California boy so Duct tape is OK with me!
I will take a look at it, its only been there a few hundred miles.
This tape is the good stuff gorilla brand. It should hold up as well as electrical tape or better. You know, if I have to add the split tubing I will have to hod it in place with duct tape! Don't be a hater duct tape is a gift from God! or maybe that would Dupont or NASA.

I got this T-shirt. Mine took 1+ hours to "cool" off and the truck would re-fire.
