Evening everyone. Rick we have a pole in my backyard. Hasnt been inspected over the years but has not been changed for as long as I can remember.

Howdy Shaun!

I wouldn't be surprised if the pole was put in when the house was built in 1955.

They changed a pole a couple years ago that services my place near the back of my yard, I'll never see it changed again in my lifetime unless the neighbor goes crazy with a chainsaw..

Rick I figure that pole might have been replaced maybe once but it would have been before I was around. The house I live was built in 1943. Would suck for the power company to have to replace the pole in my yard. They cant get trucks past my house.

Just took Macy out before all hell breaks loose outside. That storm is at our back door.

The only way the power company could get to that pole would be by taking down a fence and snaking across the yard.

I dont think they want to take down 200 feet of chain link fence and 2 driveway gates. Plus tear up 2 yards for the pole in my yard. I think the one neighbors house might hvae a big enough drive they could use to get to the pole.
