The power company doesn't shut our power down for maintenance that I know of. Guess they fix it when it breaks.

They are always doing upgrades or changing poles out on the main grid, we have 2 power dams here, one in town and another down river...

We lived in our last house for 18 years and the pole in the corner of the back yard was never changed. I have no Idea how they would even get to it to change it.
