I've decided not to go to the car show tomorrow on account of the road conditions. Solved my speedometer problem today too but fuel gauge is still out of wack ..

How is the transmission removal and reinstall coming?
How is the transmission removal and reinstall coming?
I was putting the transmission on hold because I wanted to go to this show. I removed the pan and filter today to change out the shift lever and to add the TV cable kit. I have it all ready to go in and will likely start removing the transmission on Friday. Taking the truck for a drive to Dryden tomorrow and meeting up with some of the guys that were going to the show too but had also canceled..
That would be a harder chore, we have a pretty good idea of the gas mileage so will run the tank down as close as we can then I'll siphon as much as I can and drop the tank..

There is no sense in screwing up all of your hard work, good choice. There will be more shows in the future.

I have to drop it and pull it out to the right because of the fill hose that goes through the frame, if it weren't for that the trans jack would work great..

Damn!
Just trying to think of easier ways to do it. As if you hadn't thought it all out by now.
