If you are running a billet steel roller cam, you can get a replacement steel distributor gear from Summit or Jegs.
Not sure about what kind of plugs you are looking for. You can by 2 or 3 wire electrical connectors at Summit/Jegs, or you might cut off the existing plug on you distributor and use that on the new distributor.

Are you sure you have a roller camshaft? The trucks usually didn't get it till later, unless you have a car engine.
I also got advice from my local engine builder who said do not worry about the cam. He said the aftermarket billet cams do need a special gear, but the factory roller cams have a cast gear installed on them from the factory and do not need a special dist gear.

That's exactly what I did to my 1980 f150. Same car, but it was not a HO engine. But it did have a roller cam, it was a 1986 engine. That's the one I got the dist advice on, and I used the old 1980 duraspark II dist in that engine on the roller cam per the engine builder's advice, and I ran that engine for 8 years before the crankshaft broke in it. I still have that engine and a new crank to go in it for another project someday.

Some roller cams are not billet steel and will use the cast iron distributor gear other roller cams require a steel gear. You can use a composite distributor gear with either type cam and not need to worry about what cam is made from.
