It'd be really cool if I could find one that says "Garman's Garage, Halfville, Penna." That is where my Grandpa had the truck serviced and so did I until I moved away. The Garman's were in-laws to Grandpa and cousins to my Mother.
While looking for the original seat tag to my 54 today I came across this service sticker in an envelope of old truck bills, registration cards and other truck related stuff. I think the date says 8/4/78 which would have been a year and 2 months after I bought it from Grandpa.
Maybe I'l take it to the local print shop and see if he can take a picture of it, clean it up and make a thin magnet like it.
I think that you are doing the right thing having them made. You can find NOS labels on eBay but I would question the quality of the adhesive. I couldn't find anyone who made new ones. Maybe someone else on here knows of a source.
Pete, those are exactly like my vintage one! Thanks, that's awesome. I'll take that to the print shop and have them add the Garman's Garage info and make a magnet or two.
