Low power

1997 f Super Duty w/7.3 TD. Runs fine untill I hook up trailer then doesn't have any power. Also when running it real slugglish to get up to speed.

Automatic or manual transmission? What diff ratio?

How old is the oil, and how's the level? Have you checked for codes and/or looked at any live data? Any smoke after warm-up? How's the fuel economy?
