Edelbrock carb. rebuild - how tough?

I eventually want to put a 4 barrel carb on my 351W. I'm seeing used Edelbrock carbs for sale on local craigslist for reasonable prices but wonder how hard they are to rebuild. I have rebuilt several carbs but they were Motorcrafts. Are Edelbrocks any more difficult to rebuild and re-adjust?

You might ask Gary Lewis. He prefers Edelbrock carburetors.

Very Easy when you send it to National Carb, in Florida.
They re-build with new "ethanol" gaskets and live-flow test it....

An Eddy is an easy rebuild. Since the top comes off and gets you to all the working parts you don't have to disassemble it very far. So, if it is clean on the outside install it and see if it works. If not, pull the top and check the accelerator pump, clean the bowls, replace the needles & seats, and set the float levels. Put it back together and enjoy.

Edelbrock has a wonderful manual that explains how carbs work, shows how to adjust it, and how to change the jetting if you should need to do so: http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/...ers-manual.pdf
