Have waited and read a ton on different members level kits and any feedback for several months. Well finally pulled trigger to get Rough Country 2" Level kit installed. Wow looks great, should have done a long time ago.
But here's my dilemma, "pucks" were installed, everything put back together, alignment done, everything went off without a hitch...... drove it home, and reached 35mph+ and it sounds like a small roaring on driver side. Almost like something was dragging.
Took truck back next day and had technician look at it, he suspected maybe the brake shields were rubbing. Not it. Then thought tire pressure was too low. Not it. Wanted to rotate and balance all tires, but then he decided it wasn't an issue before level kit.
He left it with, maybe the 2015 F150 4x4 XLT just does that with the kit.
Has anybody else experienced this after a level installed?? @55mph on highway, sounds like i have knobby's on the truck, but the passenger stocks are still on for now.
IWE, integrated wheel ends. Did he remove the axle shafts from the spindle when he installed the leveling kit? If so, he didn't get it put back together quite right. What happens when you shift it into 4x4?
He claimed to only loosen the control arm nuts to give some wiggle room, then removed the strut. I'll have to drive in 4x4 to see if noise goes away. Will update soon.
I'm going to second the IWE being the issue. From what I've read it is quite common that they get messed up during the install of lift/level kits and I would also take a guess during strut swaps. Could be that just a vacuum line wasn't installed properly causing the issue.
Issue found, need (2) Actuators and a Valve. Off-Road dealer refuses to admit guilt, so you can guarantee they will not get any additional business from me, or for sure will not recommend to anybody.

Sounds like they lied to you and DID remove the half shafts.
