The Detroit News auto area is always a good source for breaking recall news:
Ford recalls 400K Transit vans for possible power loss
So this is only about the Transit, the big vans. Odd use of the word "coupling". Not sure exactly what they mean... Sometimes recalls are worded rather generically, I always wondered if that was what it took to pass the corporate lawyers.

Thank you, I am feeling some relief. And yes, defining "coupling" is much like defining "sex." It looks to me like there are many interpretations. It will probably take about 2000 lawyers to figure it out.
