I just read that ford is recalling 2015-16 Transit vans for transmission problems. Does anyone know whether this recall includes the Connect? Or what the exact problem is?

So this is only about the Transit, the big vans. Odd use of the word "coupling". Not sure exactly what they mean... Sometimes recalls are worded rather generically, I always wondered if that was what it took to pass the corporate lawyers.

Thank you, I am feeling some relief. And yes, defining "coupling" is much like defining "sex." It looks to me like there are many interpretations. It will probably take about 2000 lawyers to figure it out.

Someday everyone will realize that "Transit" and "Transit Connect" are not interchangeable, until then we must always second guess what people mean!
