The truck towed wonderfully, Although not really a "Heavy" tow" only about 6k, went form my House in Los Angeles to Virginia City Nv. with our camping group. It towed effortlessly even over the 8000' summit near Mammoth, some of the climbs from Bishop to the summit are about 6%, love the Exhaust brake on the down hills, I think the truck only touched its brakes once. BTW the adaptive cruise DOES apply the trailer brakes also. 13 mpg average round trip, not bad for climbing from about 2k in Lancaster to 8k near mammoth a climb of about 150 miles.
BTW Here is the count of types of TV's we had.
There were 26 rigs and a cabin. I counted 16 Fords, 6 Rams, 3 Chevys, and 2 Toyotas. I think out of the 16 Fords, we had 3 Superduty 1 f350 with a TC. the rest f150's and one Excursion
Been to Virginia City , NV many times....cool town with a cool July 4th parade with a dog driving a Model T.....oh and steep grades to get there off of Hwy 50.

It's steep - and twisty - from Carson City, too. I've been there several times on my Gold Wing, but I haven't been there in my truck. Yet.
I love to just wander up and down the main drag, poking through the shops and displays.
Found a good use for the large air dam on the 4x4's, bug catcher, 90% of the bugs on the front of the truck were on the air dam. The hood deflector did its job apparently, had very few bugs on the windshield.
