I have a 2005 F150 Lariat it quite running. The following codes came up P2104,P2106 and P2135 So I replaced the TPS sensor and cleaned the throttle body. The truck still will not run, its in power safe mode and now shows codes
P061f, P2104, and p2106. I am lost do not know what to do now. Any help will be appreciated.
all of the codes relate to non taking PCM... check harness and plugs, loose or mouse eaten wires........... did anything happen just prior to "quit running".
Hate to blame the PCM itself, but that is a possibility.

Yes,
The wrench signs and check engine light came up the day before it quit.
I checked everything and reset codes. It seem to be running fine. Went to the store , about 5 miles from home. On the way back it just quit. Waited about 5 min. It started back up. Then about 1/2 mile down the road it quite again. Let it set there for about 4 hours. Went back to tow the truck home it started right up.
Drove it home and changed the TPS sensor.
Thanks.

when a post 2004 F150 will not start, you normally think of the fuel pump and the fuel module ( controls pressure)...........but with those codes it looks more like PCM related.
just for reference, have you ever looked at the fuel pressure module or changed it ? many have failed in snow / corrosion areas of the country.......... not suggesting its that, just asking about fuel pressure.

No I have not looked at the fuel pressure module. I"ll take a look at it this weekend.
My throttle body intermittently failed . 05 had a bad series of throttle body . It was replaced by an upgraded, orig started with a 3 new one an 8 .
Bought a new one on ebay years ago $200.
There is a small circuit board on the motor that decodes PCM pulses , if it screws up it shuts down because of mismatch between foot pedal and tps on throttle body .
You can clean the throttle body and replace the tps but none of this will fix the motor or circuit board .
Sorry I don't have the full numbers on the different throttle bodies as that was years ago .
Of course clean the connectors and all that could mess it up too.
Replacing that body is fairly easy and quick , one labor bill is going to be a lot more than that .
