axle fluid level

Does anyone know the proper level for the rear axle fluid (M275) and the front axle fluid on the F-350? I couldn't find it in the manual. Thanks!

Haven't checked the manual, but i would "assume" it would be to the height of the fill plug.

Capacities are given, but that doesn't help you check it. I would also assume to the fill plug, BUT I have owned vehicles which say "X" amount below the fill plug (very annoying).

yeah, it would be a lot simpler if it was just to the bottom of the hole. On my older Dodge (99) if I remember right, I believe it says 3/4 of an inch +/- 1/4 of an inch below the hole. It would just be nice to know, I checked the rear axle on mine and its around 5/8 below the hole.
