be vary careful with the headlight adjuster, I broke the cable on mine. It does not work smoothly and it binds on itself.

Before I leveled mine I marked a spot on my driveway at ~25' and another mark where the headlights hit the garage door. After the height change I adjusted them down to the same mark.

heres how to adjust.

Funny to see this posted today as I just marked my driveway and garage door with blue painters tape last night. Mine truck goes in today for level kit installation.

Thanks for posting the adjustment link, saves me from looking it up.

I lowered the back of my 2017 SD Platinum only one and a half inch and was surprised how far out of adjustment the headlights are now. Now I have aircraft flashing their lights at me.

To aim the headlights, you're supposed to pull up to the door as close as you can get, mark where the lights hit the door with the tape, then back up 25' and make sure they hit the same marks. To mark the door from 25' back prior to the lift will make the lights shine lower than they should.
