yeah, loosen the nut on top and turn the screw about a half a turn then test drive. Make sure you retighten the nut, though

OK not anything mentioned so far, it doesn't sqeak when im in park...I'm actually wondering if its coming from the steering wheel or something behind the wheel in the dash. Keep having to turn the stereo up to over power it it sounds like there are some small birds trapped in the dash and they chirp. Happens more when I go right but I heard it alot just going straight today...doesn't appear to be coming from under the hood so much as right in the dash, kinda like I want to reach through the dash and rip out whatever is making the noise after a 1 hour drive...no what I mean?

Someone must have had something like this happen...if not more guessing please

Isn't there a bearing for the steering shaft towards the base of the shaft itself, before the rag joint? Possibly a lead...

Isn't power steering actuated by a hydraulic cylinder type setup? If it is, the pump will pull fluid out for one direction, and put more in for the other. Not sure, but I know hydraulics, and that could be why the system is squealing to the right and not to the left. Could it also be a pump going out? I know if you hold a piece of paper on a stick's shifter, it "amplifies" the gears' whining, could be doing the same with the gearbox through the steering wheel.
