Agree - all other engines are fine. I have had experience with everything you mentioned and all was good. The ecoboost on the other hand is a complete failure. The other engines function and perform just fine. For the finicky ecoboost, you have to drill a weep hole in the intercooler, maintain spark plug gap at .030, change them every 30k miles, and pray your cam phasers don't fail. It is just a terrible design.

Cant be that terrible since theres millions of them out there. I know mechanics too.....they have seen them with 100+ k and just do oil changes and Ive had a few owners tell me they love them. The 3 valve V8s has had more problems then the ecoboost. I just wish you would quit harping on how bad they are when they arent. why not harp about the cylinder problems some 5.0s have?
