erratic hpop

so i have been struggling with what would feel like a misfire in a gas rig for some time. tonight i borrowed an edge cts so i could watch different PID's in stock nothing was noticeable but if i tuned it up i could watch the injector control pressure drop just after every loss of power. this is what i expected but now i still don't know what to make of it. also the ipr tps stay steady and the engine oil temp is running at about 203. my mind leaned towards injector orings but iwould expect a more constant shudder where as this seems to be unpredictable. i look forward to hear all thoughts you all have

Could be a bad ICP sensor.

also boost never topped 12 lbs and ebp is always higher than boost by 2 or so. (according to obd) i dont have actual guage on it. all boots are tight and no signs of exhaust leaks from manifold to turbo witch was recently all removed and new seals during head gasket and studs were done

You can unplug it and see if it still does it.

i was tempted to do that but couldnt remember or find the threads i had read in the past where that was done to see if it was a good option. are there any possible side effects while unplugged and how long is to long to run it like that?

It won't hurt anything to unplug it and you can run it as long as you need to unplugged.

So ran this morning with the icp unplugged and cleaned the ebp tube which was plugged at the exhaust manifold. I still have the same symptoms I forgot to mention there is also a puff of black smoke if it cuts out really bad
