Alum body does what?

Sawed off low hanging limb that my '15 got under without issue, but not my '17 and the stump was just in the right place to not be seen in side/rear view mirrors.

Do you think steel would have survived unscathed?

So I wonder how they repair that.

Surely not a new cab.

Will keep you in the loop on where it goes from here, but I am betting the price for admission is nose bleed time....

That Sucks -- I would think they could section that out and make it look like new, but I'd be afraid of the Bill for that!!

Owch!!

I dunno about you guys but if my brand new truck was mauled like that, I'd be removing a tree from my driveway. I've seen videos on youtube where they bash the aluminum body and I have to say they're pretty tough but they also went on to say that it's much more expensive to repair aluminum as well. I'm sure the body shop will make it new again but expect to pay a bit more. Good luck!
