2.5" Carli Backcountry Help needed!

Just picked up the truck from having the Carli 2.5" Backcountry level installed on my 2017 F250 Platinum with the add a pac rear leaf springs. When measuring the distance from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender wheel well opening I have 3" difference front to back. it measures 11" in the front and 14" in the back? The truck looks a little nose low, but not three inches, see photos below. The question is did they install something wrong on the rear add a packs? the rear end seems much higher than prior. I had them return all the original parts. Looks like they removed the factory overload springs, added the add a pacs and reinstalled the factory blocks. I'd welcome thoughts and ideas if something was installed wrong by the local shop. Thanks!

I thought with the add a packs or the full dealers, you were supposed to remove the block?

Supposed to have bump stop drops too. Someone that knows better than me will chime in but I think the blocks need to be removed and bump stop drops installed.

Could this be the issue? Dont the 2017s all have the tall block?
  • ADD-A-PACKS: SuperDuties equipped with a factory 3-5/8" Block will require the 2" Factory Block [7C3Z-5598-L, 7C3Z-5598-K] to achieve a level stance.

Just measured the blocks, they are absolutely the 3 5/8" blocks. Is it as simple as ordering the 2" blocks and swapping them for the 3 5/8"??

You should reach out to a user named 'OCVELOMAN'. His name is Dan and he works for Carli. He can get you squared away quickly. Or call Carli first thing tomorrow.

I'd give it some time to settle and go from there. When I did a mini-pack in my 13 it was crazy how high the rear was. Within a few days it had settled down. It was still high but that was intentional so the 100 gallon slip tank and GN wouldn't have it saggin bad.

You remove the block only for the full leaf kit. For yours you just need a smaller block. PMF makes some really nice fabricated ones, or you can order any block that has the integrated bump stop for whatever height you want.

Do you have a side pic of the truck. I'd like to see the stance. Edit: see it now, all the pics didn't load at first.

I wondered the same on the U bolts, that is what Carli sent, I ordered from CJC Offroad, who was fantastic to deal with!

i would call Carli and talk to them before you start looking into different blocks. Their instructions of the the add-a-pack do not reference the 2017 SD, they only have '16 and older trucks listed.

I am curious as to the answer. I am interested in the add-a-pack, but do not want the truck any higher in the rear than maybe an additional 1/2-1". My truck has 1/2" rake with the Carli coils and stock F350 rear now

Just order straight from Deaver. They'll make the spring switch any amount of lift you want without using any blocks

Spoke to CJC off-road today. They said to pull the block out completely. We will see, will do so tomorrow and post pictures. The ride is notably better and the R/T tires ride very well for the aggressive tread!
