Yep. If you see a green sticker in a lineup it was ordered by a customer who then, for whatever reason, backed out. Maybe they bought a different truck, maybe they just didn't like it when it arrived, maybe they had a life change and couldn't take the truck when it arrived, really hard to say. They're sometimes nice to find because you end up with a more 'one of a kind' feel for your truck, for instance my FIL's truck was a green tag truck, it's an XLT with just about every option, though they ordered it carpet delete and without the fifth wheel/gooseneck prep. It was supposed to be a farm truck, but the farmer came in, saw it, and said 'if I wanted a Chevy I'd have bought a Chevy' because he hated the steps in the front corners of the box. To be fair they're a little high for older people with limited mobility (my FIL has knee problems so he can't use them, but I have no issues with them).
They're out there, you won't find them all the time but they're worth taking a look at. Might find a combo you really like in them.
Blue is a dealer ordering a truck to be delivered and sold from their lot.
Green is a special order, meaning a customer went in (or ordered online) and got a specific build built for them.
Reason you see a green sticker on a lot means someone special ordered a vehicle/truck and then for whatever reason backed out of the order and now it sits on the dealer lot to be sold to any customer.
Or they just didn't pick it up yet. My dealer sells so many trucks, there is always tons of "green" stickers out there.
Just not the same trucks, on any given week.
