Transmission noise
I drive a 09 Super Duty. 5.4l with 5R110. It has 190xxx miles on it. It has been making a strange noise from the transmission area. Its a rattling/ticking sound, kinda like a heat shield rattle(already checked them) or a like a piece of aluminum in bicycle spokes. It only happens in gear and moving at an idle and up to about 15-20mph. lower rpms are when its very audible. It seems to go away once I get into higher gears. Any thoughts? Thanks
