Hey everyone, got a little bit of an oddball I need some more help understanding. Recently I have noticed that when on a tune other than stock I am getting a surge at idle - my RPMs drop to around 621-630 then shoot back up to 660-675. On my stock tune my RPMs stay around 640-667 and don't cause the surge (felt as a shimmy so to speak).
I emailed DP about it to see if there was a way to help it out tuning-wise. Is there anything else that causes a similar symptom? I attribute it to tuning due to it only happening when running anything but stock but could be wrong.
Appreciate the confirmation Cleatus! If I don't get a definitive answer from Jody on if he has an update to fix it, I'll look to see if I can find someone else that does 256k tuning that can help out (If I trusted myself not to blow the truck up, I'd try and cure it myself - gonna leave that to the professionals for now).
This may give me the perfect time to switch to the Hydra, though. Then I'd at least have access to more tuners/possibilities.
