Forced Idle. Please Help.
I have a 2005 F250 5.4L 2wd. Parked the vehicle in my driveway and the next morning there was no response from the accelerator and the CEL light and the wrench light on. I pulled the codes and came up with codes P2104, P2107 and P2110. The KOEO code was P2122. I checked the wiring and connectors and all appear to be fine I replaced the throttle body and no change. I removed the accelerator pedal and tried it on another vehicle and it worked fine. I have power to pin 16 on the diagnostic port. After clearing the codes and rescanning the same codes come up immediately. I would appreciate any help diagnosing this and thank you in advance.

Not sure how much of this applies to your vehicle, but googling those codes led me to this: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...s-related.html. Post #14 looks promising.

You pulled 4 codes 3 of them closely related to each other , the 4th one P2122 is the gas pedal position sensor it relies on 2 signals, if signal1 is outside it's parameters, it sees fail and the rest of the codes are set that you are seeing. Did you also check your TPS? also make sure that nothing physical has gotten into the way of the TB linkage, holding it open a little bit. Also check to make sure your throttle control motor is operating and as said before, recheck your wiring harness.

I replaced the throttle body assembly and tried the pedal on another vehicle. It worked fine. Harness looks good and when I start the engine it idles up to 2000 rpms and comes down. When idle comes down it seems to have a misfire. What other issues would cause forced idle mode with those codes?

According to what I have read, that if you have validated the wiring, connections, voltages and sensors are where they're supposed to be then more than likely your PCM needs to be replaced, BUT, you said " Old throttle body had old style TPS" I didn't know they changed the TPS so maybe a reflash would do the trick, although I wouldn't think the TPS change would mean you'd have to reflash the PCM because that means the everyone that had to change it would need to go to the dealer and pay for a reflash.
Did you pull the connector at the PCM and check the pins for corrosion or any pins pushed back or bent?
