I was wondering if anyone has used this product before, and if so is it worth it? I am interested in possibly getting some kind of bed liner to help protect my truck some more from the rain here in Florida, if the price is right.
I put some of the hercules brand stuff I think it was on mine (paid a guy to do it) and it seems ok. Got some scuffs/scratches in it and I used this stuff. Comes out heavy seems pretty good, the other stuff started to turn grey. Harbor freight sells some of the same stuff so shop for best price. got mine at orielly's.
It was herculiner, and the kit at pepboys is around $90.
I took my then brand new Ranger from Dealer delivery, straight to my local Line-X shop & had their over the rail product sprayed in & it still is & looks just fine 18 years later!!!!
Surface Preparation is Paramount to a coating's adhesion to it's surface & the Line-X dealer took his time prepping that brand new surface.
Back then the after market roll on application products just didn't last, or protect under even moderate use.
Over the years I've moved the kids multiple times with all their belongings that included appliances, hauled lawn & garden equipment, dirt, rocks, boxes don't slide around, you name it & the Line-X has held up & performed just fine. It's likely more expensive, but it does last & has perform well, so is recommended for consideration.
