My new-to-me 95 has a bad bottom portion of the bench seat. I'm still getting used to this site, but is there a master list of seats for compatibility so I can check junkyards out?
The backrest of my seat is fine, but the bottom's all chewed up.
Seat frames are matched to the cabs they go in, for the most part. Regular and crew cabs have the same seat frames. Super cabs and Broncos have a different frame. I believe the seats themselves can go on any frame, but don't quote me on that. Years to look for range from 1987-1996 for any F-series, and 1997 for F-250HD, F-350, F-Superduty. However, the cab is unchanged from 1980, so seats from '80-'86 might work too.
interesting. That'll make it easy hopefully to find seats. I don't foresee wanting to put custom seats in with new brackets. It's a home improvement truck so I don't care THAT much haha
The bucket part of the seat had 4 mounting spots each the center console has 4 self tapping metal screws that go through the bottom and screw directly to the floor.
The bench just has the outer mounts 2 on each side.
You have go under the truck and fab up some new mounts for the bucket seat mounts for this to work I would think the outside mounts would line up from the stock bench to the buckets so you have to make the inner mounts for the buckets and screw the center console to the floor.
