Certified Speedometers

I've never seen a special speedometer on a police PU/Bronco. I worked on police vehicles in the early 90s when I was a mechanic for the City/municipality. These vehicles had regular factory speedos. The PUs and Broncos weren't used as pursuit vehicles. Plus they had radar guns if they were on traffic duty.
Of course that doesn't meant there wasn't some other place that had special/custom speedos.
I think the police cars (Crown Vics) may have had a "sticker" indicating they were certified/calibrated - but not a unique speedometer part as far as I know.
Maybe someone else knows more about this. Good luck.
