Engine identification help
Hi I am putting a new motor in my 01 F350 6.8 l., my timing chain cover is hitting the camshaft position gear. Does anyone know how to ID the casting number on the Block? The casting number is 3C 3E 6015 AA. I want to know if the engine builder sent me the right long block. I did not take the casting number off the core I sent him . I would like to make sure I don't have a different issue before I call the engine builder . Thanks for any information
