I don't like newer Expys as much as the older ones, mainly because they don't look enough like a truck for my tastes, but I sure do love the new FX4!!
Finally; a modern full-size SUV that appeals to off-road truck buyers! The grille could use a little more black, but it sure seems like a nice fit for many of us here! This is probably as close as we're going to get to a modern full-size Bronco.
Its amazing how a jacked up front end and smaller wheels can change a perception about a vehicle lol. I wish the wheels weres 20s but it's def a beautiful truck esp in the in person picks
Went to the dealer today, heres some pricing info:
Expedition max 2wd xlt 202A with drivers assistance pkg - $62900
Expedition limited 2wd 300A with driver assistance pkg and led lights - $64400
Going off that it's safe to say:
Swb xlt starts around 51k for 200A 54K for 201A and 58K for 202A add 2.5K to each for lwb and another 1K for 4wd.
Swb limited 300 starts at 60K, 301 for 65K and 302 for 68k.
Platinum swb i would say starts at 70k due to limited options available.
Going back to order one, but dont like how ford locks out certain options from trims, so i have a lot of thinking to do, swb with more or lwb for cheaper
For those people who wanted the new Bronco to be BIG, here ya are... I like this but don't think I have room in my garage or enough money in the bank. But this might show that Ford can do something similar with the Bronco. I think they will sell far more of these FX4 Expy's than they think so long as gas remains cheap.
The earlier Raptors has 17" wheels and the current one has 18's....they need to be big enough to clear the brakes, but you need tall TIRES for any kind of serious off roading. 20's and 22's are for street bling only and I don't like them on any truck.
Someone at Ford is getting it. Lots of Expy buyers are not into the fake wood luxo vibe.
The new Expy compares to the old big Bronco very much like the current F150 compares to the old F150 of that same era. 2 door pickups are almost extinct...
Interesting it's 1 inch longer, but more than 8 inches narrower than the outgoing version. You lose more than 9 ft3 of cargo space in the Max version, versus the EL too.
But, you gain 3 inches in hip room in both the front and second row of seats with the new version. The third row is about the same. Everything else is some give and some take.

It is not 8" narrower. Just about all big vans and pickups are 79-81" wide at the body sides. This has been the case since the 1970's. There are a lot of mfrs publishing specs that include mirrors and that confuses the picture...
Edit--just looked it up and the 2017 was 78.8" wide per the Ford website (probably because it was based on the 1997 "aero" F150) and the 2018 is 81.6" wide, so it's almost 3" wider.
From the fleet brochure linked above the 2018 "Width- including mirrors 83.6"
From the ford.com specs for a similar 2017 EL "Width- including mirrors 91.8"
Looks like the 2017 is 8.2" wider than the 2018 to me. Is there a typo in one of the places? I don't know. There probably is, but those are the specs Ford is currently posting. That's pretty cut and dry.

Can't believe everything you read, that same chart shows the width with out mirrors being 81.6" (3" wider than the current as pointed out), which would mean each mirror projects 1". Clearly a mistake.
