Beds, interchangeable years?

99-16 beds are interchangeable. The 11-16 have different wheel arches. 08-16 will have different fuel cap due to the DEF tank if it came from a diesel. The 17+ beds won't bolt on at all since it is a different body on a different frame.
You all should check out the Facebook group "Ford Powerstroke Diesels 6.0 7.3 6.4 6.7". There are 100s of beds (along with everything else) for sale on there every single day. Just this morning someone posted 50+ beds for sale all in good condition. Most are take offs as mentioned earlier.

Used bed
I've been checking both e-bay and Craigslist. Thought I struck gold with a 2016 on Craigslist, but it was gone before the seller responded to me. I am in the Baltimore area, and the nearest thing to me is around a 10 hour drive. There were 4 for sale on e-bay in Friedens, PA, but I went to Long Island for the weekend and the auction closed before I could buy one. That was a 2.5 hour drive from me.
If I could find a 2016 within a reasonable drive from me, I would buy it. Otherwise, I am leaning toward taking the current bed off, replacing the supports, rust proofing the bottom of it, and putting it back on. Don't think I am going to go the 2017 route.
