I was not going to replace it originally when I got it, but the carpet actually stunk, bad, with whatever air freshener (sic) they were using. It wasn't unpleasant, Couldn't stand it. Think old lady doused in perfume.
Feel free to PM me on who you got it from. Like everything else on this truck, I would enjoy doing this. I can't stand all the brown/tan and having a hard time deciding to sell my Overland as the Ex isn't near as comfortable ...yet. 6.0L Diesel trans cooler going in this weekend. One thing at a time, but again, kudos on the carpet install, very nice look!

Thank you. On a quest for reps, please do so if you like it.
Here is where I bought it from, lowest price around for ACC carpet
A helpful tip. Get a scalpel handle and a pack of 100 pointed scalpel blades, they sell them on Amazon cheap. Sharper than anything else you can buy, plus the points let you make holes easy
Also get one can of 3M spray 90 to glue the padding down as up toward the front middle you will have to build multiple layers of base to go around the floor vents to get it level. Plus its good to spot glue it to keep it from shifting.
How do you like the quality of the carpet? My carpet is pretty roached and I have it out to do sound deadening. I will be converting my X over to a black interior with a 2016 dash, panel and seat swap. So looking for a good quality black carpet.
The pile on yours almost looks balled up/matted? May just be my computer screen and the pictures. I received some samples from stockinteriors.com of their "ultra-plush cut pile" that looked good and had a factory density feel to it.

The quality is OEM, it is a cut pile just like what was in the X. There is no balling or matting. I was thinking of going with the ultra but I run weathertechs so much of it would not show anyway. You would be better off buying a set of Lloyds mats ultra plush and running this carpet.
The whole back is covered by the mat
PS, ask that ebay seller to send you some samples, he has the ultra as well.

I like that 2 tone look. the only downside is that now you will see all the dirt on the floor so vacuuming will become more frequent. my X is all gray inside. the black carpet would be a nice look.
Looks a little uncomfortable without seats, and I'm pretty sure your wife won't be able to see over the dash but what do I know?
You may want to consider seats
Uh huh....maybe....

I agree, but I use weathertechs so not too much of a problem.
