Take your time, dude, just relax and slow down.

SEM is marvelous, I would just repaint the entire interior but be sure to pay attention to the prep work, this is key if you want any paint to stick.

As for trim parts, good luck... sometimes years of walking around junk yards gets you things....

If you find a donor truck in the salvage yard that has power windows, I need the drivers side electrical connector - the part that plugs into the switch assembly. Just cut the wire harness back about 8 inches.
I will gladly pay for the cost of the part, your time, and shipping.

This is what it looks like (note that the corner is broken off):

Ok, another door panel question please. The door panel replacement itself, was the door panel with cloth insert a stock part with the XLT Lariat package? Gary's has got as E5TZ-1523942/43 but the red color has a star in it's column, and my search keeps coming up w/o the cloth insert. I would like to keep it stock if that is indeed what it came up with, if so I am looking for a vendor. Thanks once again.

W/O cloth inserts, but nice condition: 1980-86 FORD BRONCO F-150 F-250 F-350 DOOR PANELS OEM | eBay

Not red, but could be made so with SEM products: 1985-1986 Ford Pickup Left Side Door Panel (tan) | eBay

No E5TZ red door trim panel listed without cloth, because the part number prefix is actually E4TZ (see below).
E5TZ-1523942-A4B Right & E5TZ-1523943-A4B Left .. Blue Vinyl Door Trim Panels with Bright Mouldings and with Cloth Inserts / Obsolete

But, both the E5TZ red and tan door trim panels with these same features do not have suffixes, have a black star instead, because both were obsolete by the time the final edition of the parts catalog was printed (3/1994).

E4TZ-1023942-A3D Right & E4TZ-1023943-A3D Left .. Red Vinyl Door Trim Panels without bright mouldings, without cloth inserts / Obsolete

But the thing is, the part numbers are next to worthless, because who would have any NOS XLT/Lariat door trim panels with these features? Would be almost as rare as hens teeth.

So if I follow you guys correctly, I either find another color with cloth inserts and bright trim, and paint it red. Or, live with a factory fresh red panel w/o those trim features, such as LMC's # 49-5325-DR.

See upper pic w/link in post #19.

And, be aware that LMC is a "middle-man" operation, uses the J. Paul Getty method of making a buck. LMC has next to none of the parts shown in their catalogs

When you send in your order, they use your money to buy the parts from other repro parts sellers, auto parts stores and Ford dealers (if the part is still available), marking both the prices and the shipping costs up...that you pay.

I have heard the praises of LMC from a number of folks, (not saying you) on how they are the "go to" place for my parts, live n learn I guess. So the next question is can you share your list of "other repro parts sellers" so I can bypass LMC?

After looking at post #19 I see your point, and I guess it also answers my question of find the obsolete cloth insert w/trim ("hens teeth") or more than likely gonna live with repro panel w/o insert and trim.

I forgot the locations, so here they are...but I don't know where Auto Krafters is located.

I know where WI is (mom born in Green Bay, her mom born in Sturgeon Bay), but I don't know where Muskego is.

Your family is from God's country and Green Bay Packer land, both equally stunning. I live 20 min west of Milwaukee, nice but not as pretty as up north. Then you must know of the ravages our winters do to our vehicles, thus having a relatively rust free one is quite a gift.

I've been to WI, but never in the winter, but I've heard family stories on how cold it gets.

Mom and grandma lived in Green Bay, then moved to Chicago in the mid 1920's.

After they had enough of the freezing cold, moved to Pasadena in 1933 driving Route 66 in a brand new Packard Super 8 convertible sedan that was gift, given to her by her recently divorced 2nd husband, a wealthy stock broker.

As soon as they crossed over into Oklahoma, okies began pelting them with rotten fruit, this continued thru Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

This p!ssed off grandma, who was never a very good business woman.

After she arrived in Pasadena, went to the Ford dealer, traded the Packard straight across for two 1933 Fords, roadster and a 5 window coupe.

Grandma was a friend of Curly Lambeau and a long time Packer fan.

Pardon my ignorance, but as I had to look those cars up to see your grandma's mistake, it seems like the two car trade was a pretty good deal. Maybe you were joking as much is lost in text form, those are some great looking cars. Then to top it off she not only met Curly but could call him friend?! Dang........

The 1933 Packard Super 8 sold new for 6 grand. The 1933 Ford Roadster and the 5 window coupe would have sold new for less than a grand each.

Grandma got what she wanted, but lost 4 grand in the process.
