Bezel Parts Info Request

I looked at previous posts concerning replacement door lock and window bezels, and it has been addressed but have found some of the info dated. Can I get some sites that may have these parts for my 86 F150 XLT Lariat?

Thanks,
Tom

Check out Dennis Carpenter website Interior | Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts
there is also Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, and LMC Truck.

The part numbers (if there are any) will obviously be dated.

The thing is, your request is cloudy. You don't say what color you want, failed to mention if the windows and door locks are power or manually operated.

Unless you want a power window bezel, the bezel that surrounds the window crank handle was only supplied with the door trim panel.

I was not clear, looking back at my question I should have said power and chrome. Turns out Denis C half both and they are being shipped shortly, so that is the good news!

Thanks as always for your patience and expertise

Staying with the interior restoration questions, I have the red interior and would like to touch up some of the plastic trim. What products do are best for color match and durability?

The hunt for the EISZ-14528-C continues Dennis C had it, then sent the wrong part and when I went back today to re-order it was gone. So I tried; green sales, KC Motors,Tasca, RPN, vintage, obsolete, bronco graveyard = no luck. One of em said a 80-83 T-bird or 97-98 Mustang bezel is a match, could that be true? Any other ideas?
Thanks much

Sorry EOSZ-14528-C

One of the sources said that 1980/83 :-huh T-Bird or 1997/98 Mustang :-huh is a match, could that be true?
1980/82 T-Bird (& Cougar XR7): TWO different types. 1983 T-Bird & 1997/98 Mustang: No.

There are two different types of the 1980/82 T-Bird/Cougar bezels.

One type (this V) mounts on the door trim panel and is the same as F100/350 & Bronco. The other type mounts on the door trim panels arm rest.

EOSZ-14528-C .. Right Front Door P/W Bezel / Obsolete

Additional applications: 1980/82 Thunderbird & Cougar XR7.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
------------------------------------------------------
The matching left side: EOSZ-14527-C / Obsolete ~ 11 available NOS

Ok, so the bad news is that even with a common part between the F150 and T-bird there are none out there until one pops up at random. I'll be patient to that time comes, thanks for the clarification.

"Good things come to those that wait." But not in this case. :-arrgh

4 or 5 years ago, when someone asked about these two P/W bezels, both were available from Ford.

I listed the Ford part numbers, the MSRP & dealer net prices, the quantity/location of the Ford parts depot, plus the quantity/names of the dealers and obsolete parts vendors that had them.

Now, both are obsolete, no one has the right side (EOSZ-14528-C), there are 11 left sides (EOSZ-14527-C) available NOS .. Ford dealers have 5, obsolete parts vendors have 6.

Carpenter "made a deal" with FoMoCo, can buy parts direct from them that they are planning to obsolete. So Carpenter had NOS, not repro's.

Some of the obsolete parts vendors are p!ssed off by this arrangement, because only franchised Ford & Lincoln dealers can buy parts from FoMoCo. Carpenter is not a dealer.

I ordered a driver's side Power Door Lock Bezel from LMC. It is not correct. The "bumps" are on the wrong side, can't mount the wiring connector in. To me the decal is on upside down. It will work on the passenger side.

I am trying to get LMC to get this straightened out and they are trying. Taking awhile mainly because I had to be out of town.

Is this the issue you are having?

My Bezel is just about toast, I have wire holding everything together for now.

I have replaced the door lock bezels before - and the part numbers I used are
D9ZZ-14528-D for the left side, and D9ZZ-14528-C for the right side.

Applications: 1979/80 Mustang/Capri. Are these the same as F100/350/Bronco?

I don't know, because the pages in the hipoparts.com C/D catalog where they are listed...are missing (says insufficient data). :(

Gary will know, because when I asked him, he said his C/D catalog isn't missing these pages.

Normally, I could look up these part numbers in my 1980/89 truck catalog on FoMoCo microfiche slides, but this catalog is presently inaccessible.

I should always leave these questions up for awhile until all subject matter experts have weighed in, I spent hours yesterday calling around for the RH power window switch bezel with no success. It is like a Mission Impossible super secret squirrel plot to corner the world market on this part, so the bad guy can raise the money needed to make a doomsday device. This quest for this simple square piece of plastic is not going to go away, I will not put that old glued together mess back on my new door panels. With your help gentleman, and my credit card we will find one.

Thanks fellas!

Dman130 06-21-2017 07:30 AM

The picture does not show how botched up the glue n tie wrap this RH power switch bezel is, as I rework my door panels there is no way I will put the old mess back in. I am still searching for the correct part and am open to any ideas. Right now I am trying local boneyard.
