Posibly computer issues Please Help

Ok guys hear I am again same problem as before my truck is an 03 and I changed number 5 injecter and number 4 injecter checked my ficm everything is good there now I have a contribution balance code for injecter 4 now injecter 5 and an EGR code some guys on hear before said it could be a sensor but today I talked to my mail man who also owns a 6.0 and he sounds pretty knowledgeable he says it's possible that it could be that the computer is not reading out right and those cylinders are getting to much fuel for an instant that's what's causing the sudden puffs of black smoke I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I can fix just about anything on my truck myself but I need someone to point me in the right direction because my torque pro is giving me all these codes and I'm starting to think that there is something underlying what do you guys think. Thanks in advance

Are you EGR deleted? If not check and clean your IA2 sensor in the intake manifold. That sensor reads varying temps and will be the sensor that sets the code.

No I'm not deleted yet so I will have to check that. could that be sending out the other codes for the injectors as well or could it be another issue someone told me to also check and clean the map sensor also how do I clean the IA2 sensor would carb cleaner be good for that or something else like electrical cleaner thanks.

well they were remans I'm not exactly sure what brand I know there not motor craft and I've herd how that injecter brands other than motorcraft doesn't always run as good but I replaced injecter 4 because I had a low current and a rough idle that was after I got the torque pro so that's how I knew injecter 4 was bad injecter number 5 I had diagnosed at a garage before I herd about torque pro and they said injecter 5 was going bad they didn't say what the fault code was they just told me that it was goin bad and I took there word for it and had it changed unfortunately I'm starting to think there was never anything wrong with injecter 5 in the first place thanks

Yes you can clean the IA2 with carb cleaner just no brake clean. It's in the manifold by the fuel filter iirc. It's more than likely sooted up. Watch it on torque pro and see if the temps change while driving. As for the injector codes no it won't have anything to do with them.

Depending on how much time you want to invest or how critical the truck is to you, when I bought our 6.0, it had a misfire. My scan tool wasn't good at finding codes.
There is a large Ford diesel dealership nearby, so I had them run a diagnostic scan. Cost $160.00. Checked numerous fuel electrical engine readings. Came back with a printout and recommendations for repair.
Nice to know they only identified a faulty injector. Everything checked out fine.

Saved a lot of time and they were spot on.

well that's definitely something to consider but if I should have a faulty computer and it's throwing false fault codes are they going to be able to tail that's the problem buy putting it on that machine

Yes.
Have you checked your battery voltage and the FICM voltages? How old are the batteries. If approaching 5 years you prob need to replace them both!

And as far as I know I have no idea how old they are they was in the truck when I bought it in august
