Build Status / Ford Chat

My build sate was supposed to be today and a window sticker finally appeared. I went to ford chat to find out any additional details. This is ford chat from going to ford.com and contact us.

I was told:
Here in the Customer Relationship Center we can only see the primary status of the vehicle.

I see others getting detailed status updates from "Ford Chat" Is this a different ford chat? and if yes, how do I get there?

That is the same Ford Chat, did you ask for something in particular? They should have been able to at least tell you the status.

I was looking for an ETA. Guys on there are posting theirs, and I was under the impression it came from Ford Chat...

The eta does come from Ford chat. They can also tell you if it's in processing, or in production.

I don't know... I specifically asked for it and was told they couldn't provide that information....

Maybe I will try tomorrow and get a different person that is more knowledgeable. I know I have run into that before in the IT world....

Exactly as it happened to me half an hour ago...still in processing...no other info to give.

I called the customer service # today 8003923673 followed the prompts and ask for the status on my truck gave them my vin and they told me my truck was in kc and had an eta of the 15th. Maybe try them, I was on hold about 5 mins but they gave me the info I was after

Certain Ford Chat reps will tell you they don't know anything beyond primary status. Others will provide dates.

I've found I have better success at getting details during the day than the evening.
