This winter I will be towing 3000 - 4500 lbs (loaded dual axle snowmobile trailer with braking on both axles) into northern NH so it will be mixed highway and country driving with elevation and weather changes throughout.
When do you use tow/haul mode?
When do you turn it off?
Previously my trailer was smaller and I never towed more than 2000 lbs or so. Because of that tow/haul was never activated by me on the trips.
Towhaul when on anything other than flatlands.
Turn it off when your not towing or hauling a heavy load up and down hills. One of the info screens on the dash tells you about TH mode and when to use it.
