Congratulations Don. Each time a member (this time you) completes his or her truck, it not only gives that member (you) a wonderful sense of joy, accomplishment, and pride. But it also gives hope, encouragement, and a new found inspiration for other members to get out there and work on there own projects. I think we have all found ourselves in that spot where we wonder if we are ever going to drive our truck, it's only natural to feel this, cause lets face it, a whole lot of work goes into each and every truck that gets brought back to life. So Good job Don, you not only built a beautiful one of a kind truck, but you have also just inspired many others still stripping away decades of rust, grease and dirt, yeah we all have the dirty work B4 the beauty work. Rock On Don, you have done good, and have one beautiful truck to enjoy.
The next project isn't a truck, I found a 1980 Camaro Berlinetta that is 100% rust free, original owner, all original paper work, title, bill of sale, owners manual with factory AC and only 90,000 miles, my plan is to make something cool out of it, lower it a bit, repaint it the original color which is a really nice blue metallic maybe Z28 stripes, maybe not, tires, wheels exhaust, some z28 factory ground effects, and redo the interior as necessary, I want to see if I can complete it in 8 weeks, I'm not going crazy on this one, just build something that I drive until someone makes me an offer. I've noticed prices of these style Camaro's are creeping up quite a bit, so figured I'd take a shot.
